Training program helps job seekers TAPP into teaching potential

The Teacher Assistant Preparation Program (TAPP) is a ten-week, paid job training  program to prepare job seekers for careers in early childhood education. Through a partnership with COWIC/OhioMeansJob Columbus-Franklin County and the Childhood Development Council of Franklin County (CDCFC), participants will gain hands-on training and experience working with children in Head Start. Participants must have a high school diploma or GED, valid identitifcation, and must enjoy working with children and families. A criminal record check is also required.
