Job Posting: Project Manager, Data and Quality Reporting

The Central Ohio Workforce Investment Corporation (COWIC) is the Workforce Investment Board for Franklin County and operator of the OhioMeansJobs – Columbus-Franklin County Job Center. COWIC is charged with meeting employment needs of job seekers and businesses in Columbus and Franklin County. COWIC is searching for a self-directed individual with the skills to focus on technical processes with the intent of achieving efficient results. This uniquely qualified individual will be responsible for supporting the development and presentation of meaningful, quality reports regarding the outcomes of achieving efficient business and planning processes. Researching and collecting data on customer trends, best practices and tracking unemployment on the national, state, county, city and ZIP-code levels; developing surveys; analyzing all aspects of reports; and engaging with the management team on all levels.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration or the equivalent. Master’s Degree preferred.

Qualifications: Must have the ability to collect and report information and data; ability to relate to diverse populations & cultures a must; must be a self-directed, energetic team player, and a results-oriented professional with excellent communication and presentation skills; marketing skills; excellent verbal and written skills; attention to detail in all aspects of work. Advanced computer skills working with various databases and applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office. Must be familiar with the world of workforce development; and the ability to work effectively with COWIC staff and partners. This position requires reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
