2016 workshop schedule adds classes on entrepreneurship, money management
Franklin County residents looking to brush up on their job seeking and job-keeping skills can attend free classes at the COWIC/OhioMeansJobs Job Center. The classes include basic computer skills, resume writing, and interviewing skills, which have been offered previously. New workshops include classes on entrepreneurship and money management.

Writing a resume that reflects the experience and skills in a way that says “Hire Me.”

Learn techniques that help participants land a job. Learn what to do before, during and after an interview.
Learning how to create a personal budget and the importance of tracking spending patterns, and financial fundamentals.
|Self Employment: It’s Possible
Combine business training and financial counseling with lending services, allowing participants all the tools and resources they need to make their dreams a reality.
|Team Work & Collaboration
Using critical thinking skills, conflict management and teamwork strategies to retain employment in the workplace.
To assess the participant’s skills and qualities, consider their aims in life and set goals in order to realize and maximize their potential.
