Rapid Response

Rapid Response is a service that provides information to employers and their employees that will be experiencing job loss due to reduction in workforce or company closure.

The information provided by the Rapid Response Team is designed to enable dislocated employees and their families to successfully re-enter the workforce in the shortest timeframe possible. Based on the preferences of an employer and its employees, a wide range of professional, customized training services can also be provided to employees on the company’s work site and on site here at the Central Ohio Workforce Investment Corporation (COWIC) before their departure.

COWIC offers a wide variety of job and career services free of charge.  We have a fully equipped Resource Center where you can:

• Meet with our experienced staff
• Use our computers to conduct an internet job search
• Write your resume
• Review current job postings, job lisiting from entry-level to professional All Industries
• Get the latest information on the labor market
• Make copies of your resume and important employment documents
• Fax your resume to potential employers
• Use our telephone service for job prospecting
• Research available financial aid
